Composer, arranger and classical guitar educator, Wesley founded the Art of Guitar academy in 2009. He has an impressive classical repertoire, encompasses both traditional and new works. Weather performing chamber music or exploring cultures and musical forms outside the western classical tradition, Wesley strives to find connections which stimulate the imagination.
Kevin spent 12 years being a pro musician in the UK and returned to SA 11 years ago. He has always thought of himself as a blues guitarist at heart and has jammed with greats like BB King and Gary Moore. He has also been featured in Guitarist Magazine UK on different occasions. He’s performed In various bands throughout his career both in Europe and SA. Kevin will play solo for the Barleycorn. His strong influences are Stevie Ray Vaughn, Gary Moore and Johnny Greenwood from Radiohead. This is his debut performance at the Barleycorn.

This award-winning acoustic South African guitarist has graced global stages for the past 3 decades. Tony Cox is a Zimbabwean-born guitarist and composer based in Cape Town. A master of the finger-picking style of guitar playing, he has won South African Music Awards for best instrumental album twice. His music incorporates many different styles, including classical, blues, rock and jazz, while keeping an African flavour. A firm favourite returns to wow audiences for this final 2014 show at The Barleycorn Music club……..not to be missed!!!!
